But he's almost certainly out for Thursday night — rookie Caleb Lomu stepped in after the injury and is expected to remain the starter for at least the next 1-2 weeks, including this Thursday's game against the Jets (from the Caleb Lomu page).
It's a short week, same knee he tore his MCL on last season, so the Patriots are likely to play it safe.
