Here's what Zac Taylor has said about the Bengals' Week 5 injury statuses:
Ja'Marr Chase (concussion): After Chase returned to practice Thursday (Oct 8) as part of the concussion protocol's return-to-participation drills, Taylor confirmed he's "still in the concussion protocol and we'll see" on him playing Sunday against Miami — essentially a real-time question mark pending final clearance. Chase was listed as questionable.
Tee Higgins (adductor/groin strain): Taylor initially called her "day-to-day" postgame in Week 4 after the adductor injury. By Friday, Taylor listed her as questionable for Miami, noting she "got a limited Friday session in after two days of not practicing" (from the Higgins page).
So both star wide receivers entered the weekend as questionable. If one or both can't go, rookie Dohntae Myers steps into an expanded role — a tough spot for the Bengals' offense against Miami.
