## Background
Tony Dews joins the Patriots in 2025 as running backs coach after holding the same position with the New York Jets in 2024. He spent six seasons with the Tennessee Titans under Mike Vrabel, coaching running backs from 2018-22 before moving to tight ends in 2023. During his time leading the Titans' backfield, RB Derrick Henry led the NFL in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns and won the 2020 AP Offensive Player of the Year award. Dews has coached every offensive and defensive position except quarterback across a long college career, and he played tight end at Liberty (1992-95).

## Scheme & Fantasy Angle
Dews oversaw one of the NFL's premier workhorse rushing situations in Tennessee, where Henry sustained elite, high-volume usage. His backfield room is worth monitoring for whether New England concentrates carries on a featured back.
