Background

Duce Staley joined the Browns in 2024, bringing 27 years of experience as an NFL player (10) and coach (17) and having won a Super Bowl as both a player and a coach. In 2025 he helped develop rookie RBs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson, with Judkins leading the team with 827 rushing yards. He spent 11 seasons on the Eagles staff, where as running backs coach he helped LeSean McCoy to All-Pro honors, and later coached the Lions' Jamaal Williams to a franchise-record 17 rushing touchdowns in 2022. As a player, Staley rushed for 5,785 yards over a career with the Eagles and Steelers.
