Background
Was the Baltimore Ravens' head coach from 2008 through 2025 — one of the longest HC tenures in the league before he and the Ravens parted ways in early 2026. Got the Ravens job in 2008 after a long run as a special teams coordinator and one year as a defensive backs coach in Philadelphia. Unique among 2026 hires as the lone outlier without offensive or defensive coordinator experience.

Brings a Ravens-style approach: physical run game, strong special teams, defensively anchored. New OC is Matt Nagy (from Kansas City under Reid). New DC is Dennard Wilson (from Tennessee under Callahan). Chris Horton joins from Baltimore as Assistant HC and Special Teams Coordinator — twelve straight seasons on Harbaugh's Ravens staff.
