Background
A veteran coach with more than two decades in the professional and collegiate ranks, Jemal Singleton is in his sixth year as the Eagles' running backs/assistant head coach. With Singleton overseeing the backs, Philadelphia's rushing attack was central to each of the team's last five playoff runs (2021-25), ranking first in the NFL in rushing touchdowns (125), second in rushing yards per game (146.5) and fifth in yards per carry (4.6), while producing three Pro Bowl running backs. In 2025 he helped Saquon Barkley eclipse 1,000 rushing yards (1,140) for the second straight season.
Scheme & Fantasy Angle
Singleton runs one of the most productive backfields in the league, a unit that drives heavy rushing volume and goal-line scoring — making his lead back a high-value fantasy asset and the room worth monitoring for usage and touchdown share.
