Background
Offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots who is working with QB Drake Maye in 2026. McDaniels is credited by veteran players on the team as a key factor in Maye's continued development.
Scheme and Tendencies
McDaniels' system earned recognition as difficult enough that even a Super Bowl-winning team (Seahawks in 2025) needed outside consulting help to prepare for it. The Patriots offensive scheme appears specialized enough to warrant custom prep work. Working with QB Drake Maye in 2026.
