DET Devin White
NFL linebacker. Position: LB. Team: Detroit Lions.
Quick Facts
- Position: LB
- Team: Detroit Lions
- Background: 2019 first-round pick of the Buccaneers, Pro Bowler, played for multiple teams over past two seasons
2026 Outlook
White is back with the Lions after a career resurgence. Led the league with 174 tackles in 2025, his bounce-back season with the Raiders. Now paired with Detroit's defense, he should anchor the linebacker corps in a defense that figures to see plenty of action. (per Lions sign veteran LB Devin White after bounce-back 2025 season) White could return to relevance in IDP if named the starter alongside Jack Campbell. However, he carries concerns: high missed tackle rate and coverage liabilities that may limit his role despite his tackle production. (per 2026 IDP - NFC Training Camp Battles)
Role / Depth Chart
Started all 17 games for Las Vegas in 2025, piling up 174 tackles (3rd in NFL), 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception.
Injury Status
Week 5 (2026-10-12) vs Arizona: Suffered a broken forearm in the final seconds of the first quarter. Head coach Dan Campbell expects White will need surgery and miss significant time. (per Lions Provide Unfortunate Injury Updates on White, Kennedy)
