2026 Outlook
After a breakthrough 2025 season that validated Philadelphia's trade-up investment, Davis enters 2026 as one of the NFL's most physically imposing interior defenders. At 6-6 and 336 pounds, he's evolved from a space-occupier to a legitimate three-down factor through improved conditioning and athleticism. Alongside Jalen Carter, Davis forms one of the most difficult defensive tackle pairings in the league, positioning the Eagles' interior front as a defining strength under coordinator Vic Fangio. Veteran legend Brandon Graham, retiring after 16 seasons with the Eagles, named Davis as the defensive cornerstone of the team's future. Graham's assessment carries weight—the future Hall of Famer essentially passed the torch to Davis in his retirement announcement, suggesting Davis will anchor the Eagles' pass rush and run defense for years to come.
