NFL player. Position: CB. Team: Green Bay Packers.
Quick Facts
- Position: CB (Cornerback)
- Team: Green Bay Packers
- Status: Two-time All-Pro, one-time Pro Bowler
2026 Outlook
Elite cornerback anchoring Packers secondary through Week 5. Recording 31 total tackles, 1 interception, 4 passes defensed, and a half sack through five games—demonstrating consistent All-Pro-level performance. Dealing with groin injury heading into Week 6 against Dallas Cowboys, but injury appears to be day-to-day management. HC Matt LaFleur hasn't ruled out Nixon's availability for Sunday Night Football matchup. With fellow cornerback Benjamin St-Juste sidelined by hamstring injury, Green Bay would be "very thin" at the position if both miss the Cowboys game. The position group would rely on depth options Brandon Cisse, Carrington Valentine, and Kamal Hadden. Nixon's availability is critical to the Packers' defensive integrity going into one of the season's marquee matchups. (per packers-get-concerning-injury-news-ahead-of-cowboys-matchup-yahoo-sports)
Role / Depth Chart
Starting cornerback for the Green Bay Packers. Benjamin St-Juste serves as the CB2, though he's currently dealing with hamstring injury.
Injury Status
Groin injury reported in Week 6 (Oct 15). Did not practice Wednesday but expected to be evaluated throughout the week. Prognosis for Sunday Night Football appearance unclear but not ruled out by coaching staff.
