NFL player. Position: TE. Team: NO.
Quick Facts
- Position: TE
- Team: NO (New Orleans Saints)
- Bye week (2026): 8
- Status: Signed as veteran TE depth in 2026 free agency
2026 Outlook
Noah Fant joined the New Orleans Saints in 2026 free agency as veteran tight end depth behind Juwan Johnson. Brings legitimate receiving ability and athleticism to complement Johnson's volume-based fantasy profile. With rookie WR Jordyn Tyson sidelined by hamstring injury through early October, Fant could see elevated opportunities in the passing game. Saints' multi-TE deployment model positions him for goal-line and red-zone work, particularly in the first month of the season when receiver depth is depleted (per Saints Passing Game Could Be By Committee Outside of Chris Olave).
Role / Depth Chart
Backup TE / practice squad candidate; limited path to meaningful snaps.
Injury Status
Leg injury suffered August 4 during first full-pad practice while blocking on a running play; required cart assistance. Initial severity unknown, but the injury effectively ended his 2026 roster chances (per Dallas Cowboys Injury Report After First Full-Pad Practice of Training Camp).
