Background
Henderson enters his first season in Washington, and seventh as an NFL coach. He spent the last two seasons at USC serving as the team's co-defensive coordinator/run game coordinator/defensive line coach. A Super Bowl LVI champion, Henderson has worked with DT Aaron Donald, DT Kobie Turner, DE Leonard Floyd, DE Joey Bosa and LB Melvin Ingram, all of whom had career seasons under him. He spent five seasons (2019-2023) with the Los Angeles Rams as defensive line coach/run game coordinator, and was named the 2021 John Teerlinck Defensive Line Coach of the Year by his peers. He previously served as an assistant defensive line coach for the Chargers (2017-18) and held college roles at UTSA, Oklahoma State and Georgia Military College.
