Background

Ian Kolste joined the Browns as an offensive quality control coach in 2026. He spent six years at the college level in various roles before the last two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens as a coaching fellow, where he overlapped with head coach Todd Monken. He earlier returned to his alma mater, Whitworth University, as offensive coordinator (2022-23). A native of Oak Harbor, Wash., Kolste played quarterback at Whitworth and finished his career as the program's all-time passing leader.
