Background

Jeff Anderson joined the Browns in 2022 as a defensive quality control coach and was promoted to defensive assistant/nickelbacks coach in 2026. He spent eight seasons coaching at the collegiate level before joining the Browns, including corners at Cal Poly (2020-21) and graduate assistant roles at San Jose State and Northern Colorado. He first joined Cleveland as a Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellow in 2021. A native of Dixon, Calif., he played quarterback at Contra Costa College and Texas Southern.
