Background
Josh McDaniels re-joins the Patriots in 2025 as offensive coordinator, his 19th season with the organization overall and his 14th as the team's offensive coordinator across three stints. In 13 seasons as OC, his offenses earned eight top-10 rankings, including the NFL's No. 1 offense in 2007, 2012 and 2017, and he has been part of six Super Bowl championships with New England. He coached Tom Brady through 10 Pro Bowl seasons as a position coach, oversaw the record-setting 2007 offense, and served head-coaching stints with the Denver Broncos (2009-10) and Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23), plus an OC stint with the St. Louis Rams (2011).
