Background

Howell enters his 27th season with the Colts and his third as sr. head strength and conditioning coach. He previously served as the team's head strength and conditioning coach (2018-23) and assistant strength and conditioning coach (2000-2017).

During the 2024 offseason, Howell assisted with implementing a new sports performance program that focuses on collaboration with strength & conditioning, sports science, nutrition, sports medicine, coaching, analytics and personnel to enhance athletic performance by delivering world-class assessment, position-specific training and athlete management.
