Tyler Scudder was named the Philadelphia Eagles' assistant linebackers coach during the 2026 offseason. He enters his sixth year with the organization after originally joining the coaching staff in 2021. In 2025 he helped the Eagles form one of the most dominant passing defenses in the league, leading all NFL teams in completion percentage allowed (56.8 pct.) and fewest passing touchdowns surrendered (14). In 2024, Scudder assisted a defense that paced the league in total defense (278.4 ypg) en route to Super Bowl LIX, with Zack Baun emerging as an AP Defensive Player of the Year finalist.
