Background

Will Burnham enters his third season as the assistant special teams coordinator for the Houston Texans and third season in the NFL in 2025. He joined the Texans after two years at Kansas State as the special teams quality control coach, where the 2022 Wildcats won a Big 12 championship and ranked among the national leaders across special teams units. Before Kansas State he spent two seasons as a special teams graduate assistant at Virginia Tech. In 2024 his Houston unit ranked in the top six in the NFL in several special teams categories.
