Second-round safety from TCU drafted to eventually replace departing safety Coby Bryant. Got early opportunity to earn starting reps at training camp with Nick Emmanwori on PUP recovering from offseason ankle surgery. However, Clark's opportunity was dramatically curtailed by a serious lower-leg/ankle injury suffered on the very first defensive snap of the preseason game against Tennessee on August 23, 2026. Injury Status
SEASON-ENDING: Broken ankle (Aug 23). Suffered on August 23, 2026, on the first defensive snap of a preseason game vs. Tennessee. While covering a 9-yard run by Titans RB Tony Pollard, Clark went down and remained on the ground, then was carted off the field with his right leg and ankle immobilized in an air cast. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed the diagnosis as a broken ankle with a recovery timeline extending into 2027.
